Create an Author

This tutorial will show you how to manually create an author in Authorbase. If authors are not properly imported when connecting to a marketplace, I would recommend troubleshooting your marketplaces instead of manually creating them.

1. Navigate to Manage > Authors.
2. Click the Create new author button in the top right corner.
3. Add the author information, including the name, author photo, and chart color.
4. Click the Create new author button to save the information.

Once the author is added to Authorbase, you can connect it to a book by updating the book details.
