Install the Authorbase desktop app

We use native applications to provide the best functionality possible. By using applications instead of a browser extension, we can pull your sales data in faster and more reliably than other similar software.

Native applications also enable us to encrypt and store passwords on your local device (just like your web browser does) instead of on our server, thus keeping your third party accounts as secure as possible since your passwords will never have to leave your device.

How to install Authorbase on desktop

1. Go to https://authorbase.com/get-started
2. Click on Download for either Windows or macOS, depending on the device you're currently using.
3. Go to your Downloads folder on your computer and double-click on the Authorbase installer.
4. Once the Setup Wizard launches, click on Next.
5. Select the destination where you'd like to install Authorbase. (We recommend leaving the default selected location.) Click Next when you have made your choice.
6. Click Install to being the installation.
7. Once the installation is finished, click Finish. Uncheck the box if you're not ready to launch Authorbase right away.
8. Open Authorbase to start using it!

You can now log in to Authorbase if you already have an account, or sign up for a new account.

Can I install Authorbase on multiple computers?

Yes, absolutely! You can repeat the steps outlined above to install Authorbase on multiple devices. Once Authorbase is installed on a new device, you will need to log in to your main account. Since marketplace credentials are stored locally (on your device), you will need to connect them again to have accurate data on your new device.

But you can use Authorbase on as many devices as you wish!
